The plastic bank passed during the offering time is for coins (50 cents or so). This offering symbolizes our desire to combat world hunger.
All are invited to stay after Sunday school for a carry-in meal and a time of recognition of the recent marriage of Missy (Rombout) and Jimmy Mennie. Church board meeting, Tuesday, November 3, 7:30 pm at the home of Elaine Gerber. Faith sharing by Ellen Davis-Zehr.
Mennonite Women will meet on Thursday, November 5 for their regular meeting. Coffee at 10 am, work, potluck meal, meeting, work. All women are invited.
Next Sunday, Doc Johnson will be preaching in our morning worship service. Cal, Carol, and April will be at Goshen (IN) College visiting Jenna and Melissa.
Our Willow Springs Fall Retreat is in two weeks, November 14 and 15. Title: On a Journey Theme: Pilgrimage Our Spiritual Journey with Jesus Our Lord. Please sign up for the Saturday evening pizza supper. Things to bring: Magazines with pictures we can cut out Finger foods for Saturday evening A donation for the youth group fundraiser breakfast on Sunday Cut-up veggies to be put in a soup for our Sunday lunch.
